A Walk to Remember

9 MAY 2009
Wesak Day
  • Together with other members and supporters of Malaysian Dogs Deserve Better, David, Keng Xhik, Kok Kian and I had participated in the annual procession organized by Buddhist Mahara Vihara in Brickfields.
  • Well, we did not really finished the 12km route though. (Got off the trail upon reaching Sg. Wang.)
  • Other than commemorating Wesak Day, members and supporters of MDDB had also walked to remember the poor souls that lost their lives in Pulau Tengah and Pulau Selat Kering after they were cruelly abandoned by the residents of Pulau Ketam. (I'm talking about the dogs.)
  • We had walked to symbolise the liberation of Malaysian dogs from cruelty and prejudice!

Still waiting for the call from my cousin.
Still looking for more volunteers.
Really hope to get there ASAP for the rescue mission.
Really hope that their suffering will end upon being rescued.
THEY DESERVE BETTER!
